The electronic judicial process and its quantitative reflection on the rate of congestioning Justice in the State of Pará
Abstract
Access to justice is an indispensable condition for defending fundamental rights such as the preservation of the dignity of the human person. The electronic judicial process emerged with the primary purpose of promoting economy and speed, taking the Judiciary from the crisis that has been facing for a short time. The objective of this work is to evaluate whether the implementation of the PJ-e at the State Court of Justice (TJPA) stimulated the decline in the congestion rate, the period of which limits the years between 2017 and 2019. It is an exploratory research that translates quantitative data from statistical reports, carried out annually, on litigation through the congestion rate criterion. The study points out that the TJPA congestion rate has been growing over the course of the PJE implementation in the State and that the biggest responsible for the high rate of congestion rate is the 3rd entrance, being responsible for 88.70% in 2019. It is understood that the PJE within the scope of the TJPA did not stimulate the decline in the congestion rate between the years 2017 and 2019, which corroborates the stabilization or worsening of access to justice, since it did not provide speed and procedural efficiency.Downloads
