Abstract
The present research deals with the public procurement advertising thematically carried out through bids. The scope was given through the search of information on municipal government portals on the Internet. The objective of the investigation was to analyze the information about the bids present in the governmental portals of the municipalities of the region of the middle Paraíba of the State of Rio de Janeiro, based on the parameters of the Public Procurement Disclosure Indicator (Vicente and Soares, 2011) and the Law on Access to Information (LAI). For this purpose, a data collection was carried out through a guided navigation in the official portals of the sample cities. The collection was done from an observation protocol containing twelve indicators related to the dimensions of userability and availability of information. As a result, a low availability index of important information about bidding processes was observed, mainly regarding the information update. Thus, it is concluded that there is a special concern of managers to prioritize the availability of information related to public contracting within the region studied, which contributes to greater citizen participation in public management.Downloads
