The challenges in developing artificial intelligence applied to law
an analysis of the Osiris Project
Abstract
This article deals with technological innovations applied in Brazilian law, with a focus on the PD&I “Osiris - Artificial Intelligence in Tax Enforcement”. It adopts the perspective of artificial intelligence applied in the legal field as a social phenomenon. The research aims to answer the following question: what are the main challenges in developing artificial intelligence solutions applied to law? To answer this question, a methodological approach was used that combines bibliographical and documentary research, with the analysis of regulatory frameworks, such as Resolution 332 of the National Council of Justice (CNJ), and institutional initiatives, such as the Justice 4.0 Program. To illustrate the challenges and technological advances, the Osiris Project case study was also adopted, developed in the context of tax enforcement. It was observed that the context of technological applications in the legal scenario is shaped by normative and practical aspects; as for enforcement, a multidisciplinary approach is considered relevant.Downloads
