Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to verify relations between the concept of structural coupling, from Maturana and Varela's autopoiesis theory (1995), and the concepts of Corporate University through the presentation of a case study. The project analyzed as a case study of this work was the Court of Auditors of the State of Santa Catarina that provides training on accounts and budget guidelines to its stakeholders (municipalities and state government agency) and other citizens of the state. Thus, it was observed that the principles of the theory of the Chilean authors can be perceived in several aspects, especially when contemplating the whole, resulting in a critical and systemic view for society as a whole. Thus, it can be said that a possible evolution of the Corporate University in Network is the Autopoietic University.
