Abstract

This article proposes to discuss the use of electronic securities protest for credit recovery purposes in the post-pandemic scenario of COVID-19 in view of the model adopted today by Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF). As it involves the use of new technologies, it is based on the principle that this new mechanism will allow greater speed and preservation of the relations between the bank and its customers, as it strives for a more transparent and easy-to-perform operation. Thus, in order to achieve this objective, a bibliographic research methodology was adopted in order to make a selection of sources relevant to the subject addressed and, once the sources are collected, we will seek to dissert based on theoretical foundations from the inductive method. Among the objectives achieved, it can be noted that taking as reference the creation of the electronic protest, combined with the integration of all the notary offices in the state of São Paulo, it can be inferred that the emergence of these modules are capable of stimulating the fulfillment of the social function performed by banking entities such as Caixa que, which will have greater profitability, since the reduction in operating costs leads to greater development of its activities, delivering more competitive services to the Brazilian market.
