Abstract

The article on the screen aims to promote a reflexive posture about the right to information in the network society, especially and especially from the use of Information and Communication Technologies - ICT, or information technologies, which can be formalized as potential protection of the democratic system. Thus, this scope is permeated by a panorama consubstantiated in the influence of information and communications and its symbols in the social network, corroborating with the construction of issues of public interest and relevance to all political, cultural, economic and social actors. In this paradigm, it was found that information and communication are structures of extreme expression, especially in the highly interconnected and interactive society that is the mark of the current network society, so that such influences and directives cross at all levels, establishing the relations of power dominant, giving shape to the element that constitutes each and every society and determines its evolutions, which are increasingly elaborated from the sphere of communication. Regarding the methodology, the method of deductive approach and the method of monographic procedure were applied, both consubstantiated with the research technique based on documentary and bibliographic source.
